The Art of Life by Andre Ein - Skylight Gallery.

"I realized at very young age that art is life. When I was just a child growing up in Church Hill my Farther would come home from working two jobs and no matter how tired he was; he would paint. My father would sit in front of the canvas for an hour or two an pull beautiful images from the dark oil paint. He would still have the smell of hard work on him and the look of stress from a hard day. But, when he got done with his painting the look of peace was on his face. This is the strength and power of art. Art is joy, Art is love, and Art is pain. I try to capture the moments in my life on canvas that makes me glad to say I am alive to see it all. I do this all with figurative art because we as human beings create the best narrative for the song track of life. It's a woman's beautiful smile that sparks my creativity on the canvas. It's the magic of love that a man and a woman have when they look at each other. This is what I try to capture on canvas. I also want to capture the way we as people relate feelings and emotions to each other when we are being are true self. The good, the beautiful, and the ugly. This is the Art of Life." - Andre Ein
