Nerd Eclectic: Animals by Tadja Dragoo

Bringing the awesome since 1975 -Tadja Dragoo is a creature born of myth and legend. With a Master of Fine Arts degree from Florida State University and a challenge rating higher than a rabid terrasque. She brings intricate, creature and animal-themed drawings as big as walls to exhibit in the Jane Sandelin Gallery.

"I love to draw. I love the pencil, but will often venture forth with different artistic implements. My favorite creations as of now are very large, fantastical drawings with as much detail as I dare. Do the intricacies belie the whole of the drawing? Or do they tell another, but equally true, story? I leave that to you to decide, if you like. Or perhaps a mystery is better left a mystery". -TD

The exhibit will be in the Jane Sandelin Gallery.

Food for Thought by Linda Reynolds -Centre Gallery, East

Metamorphoses, Mutations and Manifestations by Kate Boland

Kate uses her art as a means to bring to life the objects and creatures that exist in her imagination as well as the emotions and feelings of an experience. She sketchs these organic, abstract shapes first in pencil and allows them to grow, develop and evolve before transfering them to the canvas.

This show is inspired by my family and friends, by their love, their strength, and for all they bring to my life. I dedicate each and every piece to them. KB.
