BABEL by Joan Louis We are thrilled to welcome back this prolific internationally renound painter to Richmond, VA. His pieces are true poetry. This exhibit, in the Jane Sandelin Gallery.

Growing up in Trujillo, Peru, JOAN LOUIS, has been influenced by art and music since early childhood. His father is also an artist and his desire to paint became so strong in later years that he ultimately gave up teaching and performing music to follow his heart. “With painting, says Joan, I have chosen my own path and in doing so, I choose the path of freedom. I express with color what I hear in my heart.”
