by Chrisana Reveley

"My work is inspired by  my need to recycle the debris I see everyday around me.  I take interesting textures and shapes that I find in the street, the floor, the parking lot-- or am given by friends-- and transform them into mixed media pieces that are usually about one of the four elements, Air, Water, Earth or Fire. ... This current show is full small pieces that can be set on a shelf.  I believe that people's lives are improved by having beautiful things around them.  I believe the energy in original art is better than having prints of great works.  My hope is that these small pieces in recycled photo frames will appeal to the imagination of the viewer and provide something interesting to consider."
