About the Juror: We all have experiences in our lives that often times cause us to lose touch with our own identities and to somehow redefine ourselves in the process of getting it back. My artwork is a constant reflection of that idea. A piece of artwork with a strong presence often reveals more of itself over time than in a moments notice. That for me is what defines the chasm between fine art and illustration. By losing the object we gain the soul -Michael O'Neal

MEN @ WORK (AND PLAY)

This all media exhibit is sponsored by 12 12 Gallery and the Richmond Men's Chorus. Martin McFadden from 12 12 Gallery (in the Manchester Art District of Richmond) is the curator for this show. The exhibit is all about men (at work and play). The artwork will be available for purchase out right and as part of a silent auction with proceeds going to the Richmond Men's Chorus, a non-profit organization. Then on October 11th the Richmond Men's Chorus will hold a fund raiser at Art Works where the auction will wind up in high style including performances by the chorus, a martini bar and a special auction of music transformed into visual art (a surprise). Contact 12 12 Gallery for details about tickets for the fund-raiser event (804) 233-9957 - www.1212galleryrichmond.com.
