THOROUGHLY IMPRESSIONIST - Paintings by Dan Helgemo

Dan Helgemo is a realist and impressionist painter. Working in pencil, charcoal and oil he paints figurative, portrait, still life and landscape subjects. Dan is both self-taught and schooled at Ingbretson Studio of drawing and painting in Manchester, NH, Atelier LeSueur in Minnesota and Savannah College of Art and Design. He lives in Travelers Rest, South Carolina (close to Asheville) where he teaches portrait drawing and painting and cast drawing. His work is in several galleries on the East Coast. We think Richmonders will thoroughly enjoy THOROUGHLY IMPRESSIONIST where Helgemo presents work in the style of traditional oil painting, from Rembrandt to academic and impressionist painting of the late 19th.
