Artist Statement :

The brilliantly colored tropical paintings of artist, Gloria Clifford, are a testimonial of this artist's passion for life.  From the time that Gloria was a little girl, she had a love for nature and for the plants and animals that inhabit our Earth.  As a result of living in the Florida Keys, Gloria's world changed dramatically as an artist; it was there that she found subjects that she has never grown tired of painting.

Gloria's main objective currently as "Richmond's Caribbean Painter" is to encourage others to become more aware of the endangered animals and plants in these beautiful tropical habitats. A testimony of her love for the ocean can now be seen on her website: www.gloriaclifford.com as four of her newest sea turtle images will be used as a way to help conserve these wonderful animals.
